Our transitional shelters help us house women and children who are escaping trauma and abuse, while our caseworkers provide end to end services based on the individual goals of the referred family.
We work with them to obtain legal advice, counseling, sustainable housing, and employment. House managers ensure to provide them with a safe space, comfortable environment and provide basic essentials while they stay in our homes.
With our remote casework services, we’ve experienced an increase of 21% of calls year over year over the past 4 years from Chicago of individuals looking for help
We work with other organizations based in Chicago for referral services already, forming a network of resources.
Our needs assessment and research show a large Muslim population in Chicago and many of them are in need of our services.
